I have, but that doesn't mean YOU can.I had to look around. Some of the uhauls are ran out of gas stations storage units etc.,some bend rules.Just be diligent, keep looking.

Check Home Depot,Lowes etc,if a pick up will do.

I couldn't rent a car with a debit card and $2000 cash at CVG airport.

PS I asked them and they said they couldnt rent to me if I had twice the value of the car in cash.Go figure.

Yes. Though you will still have to pay a security deposit in cash.

Do pay the deposit and the main rental fee all up front before driving off the lot, or do you pay the deposit and pay the bulk fee at drop off for long distance moves

You can call them directly and find out. With credit card, they can track you down a lot easier if something happened to their truck even though you still have to present your driver license. Besides, they will get an authorization through credit card company to make sure you have enough available credit to cover in case something happens. I guess they would prefer credit cards.

Yes you can. We ask for $100 up front on both locals and one-ways. Some dealers will ask for more up front. You are going to need to supply some other identification, or method of reaching you, in case you drop the truck and exceed your deposit. Now on One-Ways the deposit is on top of the truck fees, and you get the deposit back on the other end.

Not unless they have a very high deposit on it but like rental cars, the answer is no, because you can't make good on it if you abscond with it. And if you have no credit card, I doubt you could afford several thousand dollars deposit in cash.

No. A credit card protects their investment.

i don't think so. because i think that if your late they like to have a direct charge to your card, but pressure them to let you pay in cash
