Born in Puerto Rico,need to get a copy of birth certificate for proof of US citizenship to apply for a us passport.Please show me where do I go to apply for it?

if u come over here to PR, u need to go to an office named certificados demograficos, there is one in every city. but if u want to get it in other methods, then get in the government site: estado libre asociado de puerto rico and find out some info. requirements on how to get it via other private agencies.
