Why Isnt my tracking info updating?

I ordered a watch from China and the tracking status hasn't changed

Origin Post is Preparing Shipment
Acceptance August 23,2012 3:29am China People Rep
It is Regestered Mail

Updates for international shipments are often delayed for many days - or weeks. Don't know why, but that is how it is. A package could take anywhere from 10 days to 40 days to arrive. Depends a lot on how long it sits in a customs warehouse, and that is totally unpredictable.

If when it gets to customs and if it is found to be a knockoff of a brand name product, it will probably be destroyed and you will never see it. You should not be ordering stuff from China.
