My son rode greyhound back to Indiana from Texas last summer. The bus caught fire 2 hours outside of Dallas, they sat/slept for 6 hours at the side of the road while waiting for another bus to come for them. Luckily it was in the middle of the night so they didnt have to put up with the heat. They had no water, no food, no restrooms. Numerous other delays made them nearly a day late getting to Indianapolis. I could have driven to texas and gotten him and then back home in the time that it took them to get from there to here. Bad, bad customer service, nasty bus stations and the busses are not the newest or safest. We will never use or recommend them to anyone again.

I took the bus once and over all that is pleasant. move or replacing buses is okay the fee ticket brokers are very effectual.the final holiday is high-quality,the basically issue I had were a number of the those that traveled on the bus,some were a touch shady searching.

Greyhound must be owned by the airlines.
They make it bad on purpose so that you'll fly instead of taking the bus -- unless you really are so poor that you have no choice.
And when you fly, no matter how poor the service is, you'll count your blessings that you're not on the bus.
