Tracking number staring with LN?

I got this tracking number from a site I bought items from and I can't seem to track anything.
Did they give me a fake tracking number?

I have the same 2 letters in a tracking number but have no update since 12/23 and says pre-shipment, what does that mean? when do you think I should see a change in my shipment or even see my package

Definitely over seas- usually takes a month to receive packages with these characters in the tracking #.

It is Chinese, but eventually you will be able to track it through the USPS , I realized this is an old post, but in case some one else has the same question...
