Has anyone used PayPal to pay for Agoda hotel booking? Any problem you encountered upon check-in at hotel?

I know that if you use credit card for Agoda booking, you'd have to present the card used along with Agoda's booking confirmation email, but if I intend to use my paypal funds instead, I wonder if the hotel would require any other document for verification (as in the case of credit card verification upon check-in). Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have booked using Paypal before and you just bring the hotel voucher they email you and a photo ID, like a passport or driver license. I think the hotel you stay at probably requires you to bring photo ID, anyway. Hope that helps!

i help manage a hotel, and as long as you have money for a room and valid id and are of age, you can get a room. a lot of people don't have credit cards and pay cash. some fancier hotels may require a credit card, so you may want to call ahead to verify.
