iceland holiday in february! what to wear & where to visit.?

i'm going to iceland in february, when temperatures will be around -1C!! am just wondering what clothing i should take with me.
am a bit strapped for cash so am really just interested in knowing the essentials!

also..if anybody can recommend anything to do there, i'd be very interested in knowing! i'll be staying in rekyjavik and keflavik.

You should definitely bring a warm coat and a hat, maybe a pair of mittens. ;)



Staying in Reykjavík you should see Perlan and Öskjuhlíð, Árbæjarsafn Museum and the Zoo. There will be held a so called Museum Night on February 12th where all museums are open past midnight.



You should also check out the mid-winter weekend nightlife in Reykjavík as well as some underground concerts.
