Resorts in movies does anyone know where they located?

does anyone know where is the location of the resort in the movie couples retreat? I sooo wanna go there for my 21st birthday

Couples Retreat was filmed at the St Regis hotel in Bora Bora, French Polynesia.



If you plan on going there, I hope you have a lot of money saved up. We went to Bora Bora and stayed at a different hotel (Intercontinental Le Moana, which is considered to be on a slightly lower level). Our room was $800 a night. Getting there is also pricey. The ticket from NY to Tahiti (where the international airport is) was $1500, and the flight from there to Bora Bora was another $400. Food is also very pricey, especially if you eat at your hotel (and since the St Regis is not on the main island but on one of the coral islands around BB, you'd have to take the ferry to get to BB proper just to find non-hotel dining options).



It's a beautiful spot, don't get me wrong, but just be prepared to spend a LOT of money.

it make it easy to film that way.
